BIODIGEST is composed of natural nitrifying, denitrifying and facultative bacterial strains selected for their ability to transform ammonia into nitrites, nitrites into nitrates and nitrates into nitrogen.• Biological filtration occurs rapidly thanks to nitrifying bacteria such as Nitrosomonas europea, Nitrobacter winogradskyi…• Cleaning through digestion of organic waste is aided by the presence of several different strains of heterotrophic bacteria present in optimal proportions, such as Paracoccus denitrificans, Pseudomonas stuzerii….These bacteria work as a team: each strain finishes the work started by the others. Some of them are able to biosynthesize denitrifying enzymes in aerobic conditions. This allows for good water purification, a reduction in nitrates, phosphates and the prevention of the proliferation of filamentous algae.
