Corals, even those with zooxanthellae that feed on light, need supplements. Reef Booster was developed in collaboration with aquaculture experts based on highly effective products used in crustacean, mollusc and bivalve larvae farming.
It is a complete food supplement, containing all the essential elements for invertebrates that feed partially or entirely on microplankton and for zooxanthellae corals that require a supply of microplankton.
Reef Booster promotes the development of corals, bivalve molluscs and microfauna, as well as the reduction of nitrates and phosphates, by nourishing and maintaining the anaerobic bacteria of living stones.
After a few weeks of use, hermatypic corals (such as Plerogyra and Euphyllia) develop and aermatypic polyps (such as Scleronephtya and Tubastraea) and gorgonians thrive. Corals also stabilize their coloration. Reef Booster contains very high concentrations of polyunsaturated w3-fatty acids, which all marine organisms need. Just a few drops are enough to make the fish's food more palatable. The product is an excellent solution for starting to feed difficult or newly imported fish.
