AquaShrimp Powder is a technical mineral soil of volcanic origin collected in Japan, specially studied and adapted to the life of shrimp and their offspring.
Its balanced formulation promotes optimal plant growth and perennial root development in a shrimp-populated environment. Ready to use, no rinsing or preliminary preparation required.
Technical soil directly influences the physical-chemical parameters of the water by lowering the KH and pH and is porous enough to allow nitrifying bacteria to adequately colonize the substrate and improve the quality of the water, keeping it clear.
The physical properties of AquaShrimp Powder are due to a high temperature treatment (about 1,200°C), which makes it free from parasitic species that could contaminate the aquarium.
The powdery consistency of AquaShrimp Powder is fine enough to prevent shrimp eggs from falling into the soil, and at the same time, allows plants to grow adequate roots that are porous enough for nitrifying bacteria to properly colonize the substrate and improve water quality.
A 3Kg pack is sufficient for a 20 litre aquarium. This will allow a soil thickness of about 5 cm. Using 150 g of soil per litre will ensure the aquarium has the necessary amount of soil.
